Pumpkins

It was time again to carve out pumpkins. We decided to go get pumpkins from a pumpkin patch so we could pick out just the right ones for us. Once we picked out the pumpkins we brought them home and got together things to carve them. Once we were ready to start we all cut the tops off the pumpkins and found that they were filled with blood. I screamed "What the heck!" My mother came over and saw what I saw. The pumpkin was completely filled with blood. She cut hers open and it too was full of blood. We went back to the pumpkin patch and informed them. At which point we found out that all of their pumpkins were full of blood as well. We all got our money back while police did an investigation. I had seen footsteps heading into the forest and had started to follow them. As I got deeper and deeper in the forest the sinking feeling that I was being watched began to grow. I got into the thickest part of the forest and found more blood. I went inside and found hundreds of dead bodies. At this point I was scared out of my mind. I then heard something from behind me. "you're next..." I turned around and began to run out of the cave as fast as possible but the voice just kept saying your too late. Once I got to the end someone was there and grabbed me. They stabbed me through the chest several times and I died right there.

Now you know my story. Why I'm now a jack'o'lantern.

Edward Harper Inspired Piece

Gas

I can smell gas as I come around the corner. My car ran out about a mile back so i walked up here to get more gas. Theres a guy standing at one of the pumps. This area is a beautiful area for such things like a gas station. I ask the guy if he has a gas container for me to take some to my car. He said that he does and went in to get one. When he came out he filled it up for me and told me to drive on back down here to fill up the rest of the way. I have never met a nicer guy.

Window Poem

Car Window

I see trees
To my left are lights
The lights are red
The trees are changing colors
The trees were green but
Now are colors of red and orange
Sometimes the lights
Are green
The season is fall
With the sun bright
In the background
Are large buildings

Art Walk

Image result for red flowers

Red flowers, Red petals, green center with what appears to be gold spots. Many petals, lines down the petals. Second flower with the same center, petals coming toward the front of the photo instead of lying down. Green background. Water drops on the petals. The flowers make me fell like a happy kid again.

Gold spots on the flowers
Water drops on red petals
Green centers, flowers

Rhinoceros by Albrect Durer

Lonely Rhino

The rhino was lonely
He did not want to talk to anyone
But he was lonely
He wanted company to be around
No one wanted to be around him
He felt lost and lonely
No one liked him
He decided to talk to someone
He was shot and killed the next minute
He is a rhino not a human
Rhinos don't talk either

The Visitation by Albrect Durer

House built by a wife

He wanted a house
I said I would build one for him
I started building and he said that the house was too small
He said that he wanted a mansion
I told him that a small house is good enough
He said that he would leave me
I told him go ahead
I'll live here without you anyway
He took all the money with him
I now have a partially built house
And no warmth to sleep next to.

Color Walk

Sunset Glow

The sun has a orange color to it
The sunset has a red color to it
The clouds change the color the sun is
They don't really
They just seem like it
If only the sky always looked like
A beautiful Sunset
Sunsets are pretty

Flowers

Flowers are pink
Flowers are red
Flowers are purple
And yet they are all the same
Flowers can have different smells
That makes them special
Flowers can be big or small
Whatever the flower
It is special

Writers as Readers

1. When you read, what do need to be comfortable (environment, snacks, lighting)?

I like to read in my bedroom with bright lights and food to eat. I like to mainly read during times I'm not doing anything.
