Rubik's Planet
This is the story of a cube with six sides of different colors. The first side, white, is a pure and utopian planet. This planet is full of pure hearted people who want nothing to do with any type of violence. The second side, Red, is corrupted and a dystopian planet. This planet is full of hatred and no one here wants anything to do with each other. The third side, Green, is a planet with a green ecosystem. This planet uses the soil in the ground to farm for food with no machinery at all. This planet is the healthiest of them all. The fourth side, Yellow, is a hot desert planet. The people who live here have adapted to living in the hot deserts and have built housing that can keep them out of the several hundred degree daytimes. The fifth side, Blue, is a water filled planet. The people living here live on boats and get attacked on occasion by pirates. The last side, Orange, is a joyous planet. The people who live here live in harmony everyday. They never get mad at anyone. These will be the stories of the six planets. They all are here with what they are. They will be traveled by a young explorer. Our young explorer came from earth and is attempting to find a new planet for everyone to live on. However there is one secret about the solar system that will only be found out later in the exploration.
White-Side
As our explorer comes to the outermost planet in the solar system he sees an array of satellites around the White planet. Our explorer wondered what they were but ignored them as he cloaked his exploration ship. He proceeded down through the atmosphere and began to observe everyone here. He noted down that no one here had any idea as to what was going on. As he was watching them for the duration of one month he found that they were following a schedule. At 6 am every morning everyone woke up and had breakfast. At 8 am they would head out to work and school. At 12 pm they all ate lunch for exactly 30 minutes and went back to work. At 3 pm They all returned home and did activities to calm their minds after work and school. At 7 pm they would all eat dinner for again exactly 30 minutes and went back to their activities. At 10 pm they would all go to bed and the cycle repeated everyday. He found that this planet had exactly no problems what so ever and decided that it was more of a Utopian society. He moved on the next planet in his journey.
In between
As our explorer left the white planet he transmitted his information back to earth and ready for his next journey to the red side. He also found that the satellites were emitting some kind of information frequency but he decided to ignore it for the time being.
Red Side
As our explorer came up to the red planet he noted that the surface looked like lava. He decided he would use the telescope his ship was equipped with to observe the planet instead of going into the atmosphere. He had already deemed the planet too dangerous before even getting close to it. Again in the atmosphere was the array of satellites. He began to have some curiosity about them. For now he decided that he would just observe the planets however. He found that the people on this planet were very secluded and that there have been many wars. In fact while he was there he found that a war was currently happening. The people on this planet did not seem like the kind type and would rather kill everyone around them to be alone. The people here wanted nothing but anger towards others. He felt sad for them and left to move on to the next planet.
In between
As our explorer left the red planet he transmitted the information about the red planet and asked for permission to investigate the satellites covering the planet's atmosphere. For now until he got a response he ignored them and moved on to the green side.
Green Side
As our explorer came to the green planet he again noted the satellites. He wouldn’t get a response from earth for a while. He could see that the planet was covered in green grass from the atmosphere and so he went in with his cloak active to the planet's surface. He found a single town amongst the surface where there was a lot of farms. These people looked as if they hadn't seen any machines. He decided that they were on a planet they wanted to keep alive and never pollute. He noted that there were very few people on this planet. The people looked as if they built all of the buildings and have never seen a day without farming. He landed on the surface and took a soil sample. He noted that the grass planted seemed as if it wouldn’t ever grow and would stay healthy forever. The people here wanted everything to be healthy. He left for the next planet.
In Between
As our explorer left the green planet he transmitted the information about it back to earth. He got a response about the satellites telling him to send pictures of the satellites back with the next report. He took several photos of the satellites. He sent them along with the soil sample information back to earth. For now he continued to ignore the satellites and moved onto the yellow side.
Yellow Side
As our explorer came to the yellow he again noted the satellites. This planet looked like it was under extreme temperatures. He decided that if there was life here it would not have lasted one day. He did a scan of the planet and found that there is life. In the middle of the planet's surface where the sun was highest at the time he found a small town. He decided to go in with his shielding on max and cloak off to take a look. He would keep his distance from them for now. He noted that the temperatures were off the charts and could not measure accurately. To him it looked as if the people down there were inside to keep cover from the extreme heats. He then flew to the other side of the planet where it was night and found that the temperature had already fallen to the opposite temperature of the day side. He found that the people here have adapted to living here by doing things just before the sun rose. He was surprised that this planet still had a atmosphere depending on how long it has been here. He decided before the sun baked off his shielding to leave the atmosphere. Once in space he continued monitoring them noting they only came out when the temperatures were in between -40°F and 120°F. That timing was only about four hours everyday. They were not very active people but looked as if they were in great shape. He left for the next planet.
In Between
As our explorer left the yellow planet he transmitted the information about it back to earth. Earth informed him that he is to stay away from the satellites for the time being until the science crew arrives in one month. He was told to investigate the blue planet next and then wait for the science team. For now he ignored the satellites and moved on to the blue planet.
Blue Side
As our explorer came up to the blue planet he could not see any land anywhere. He also noted that the satellites were in a less quantity here. He wondered what that would mean. He decided to go into the atmosphere of the planet to see if there was any life at all. He found that people here had been living on boats built from material he didn’t know they could get. He saw that some of them were coming out from under the ocean and decided to have a look. He took his ship under the water and did a scan of the seabed. He found that they did have a civilization before. It looks as if the planet had just been covered in water. The people here must have some extreme ability to survive. He did a scan of one of the boats and found that the boats consisted of thousands of rooms and engines more powerful than some of the ships on earth. He left the blue planet noting that no land was above sea level.
In Between
He transmitted the data about the blue planet and about the satellites here just as he saw the science vessel get here. He escorted them to some of the satellites. He left them as they started scanning and doing tests on them. Our explorer has started heading to the last planet in the system.
Orange Side
As our explorer came to the orange planet he noted that again the satellites were again spaced out more. He did a quick scan and found a mysterious object in the distance. He decided that before reporting in on this planet he would check out the object. As our explorer came to
the orange planet he noted that the planet seemed more like earth with less technology. As he got closer he realized that this was earth, 1000 years before the space exploration started. He decided to inspect these people the closest. As he brought his ship in he noted that there was little to no damage done to the earth. The buildings here were in fact built on the earth’s top. None of the ground was flattened in any one spot. There was no cars or things like that. He began to notice that no one here was in a bad mood. He noted that this plant was very joyous. No one here wanted to have a war and never did any conflict break out. He decided to move on to the mysterious object.
Mysterious Object
As our explorer came to the mysterious object he noted that it kind of looked like a ship. The scientists let him know that the satellites seemed like something of no concern for the time being. As he got close to the mysterious object he noted that there seemed to be a lot of energy here. He did a few scans of the ship and found that the satellites all sent a signal to here and the mysterious object sent a signal to the satellites. He found an entrance where his ship could dock. He docked his ship and ready his weapons and a space suit. Even though he found that there was indeed oxygen on the ship he didn’t want to risk it. As he bored the ship he noted that the ship had a very futuristic design to it. He made his way to room that looked like it was the control room for a ton of functions. He found things that controlled the planets climates and controlled that controlled the people on the planet. It looked as if the ship itself controlled the solar system. Finding no lives on board the ship using the internal ship scanners he decided to call the science team to him to take a better look at the ship.
As the scientists made their wat to the new ship they noted that the signals were the same as the ones emitting from the satellites. They proceeded to dock with our explorer’s ship and board onto the mysterious object. As the scientists tested the ship for signs of life and something controlling the ship they found a machine unlike anything on earth.
They found that an artificial intelligence has been controlling the solar system for well over 10,000 years. The AI was extremely complex. They decided that this technology was too much to take in and sent a report to earth.
As out explorer explored more of the ship he found a room that looked like it created a hologram. He switched it on and the first thing the AI said made the explorer jump out of his skin. The AI told him that he was the creator of the AI. At some time there had been another civilization on earth that made this solar system. They now live here. The six rulers of the world. Pure, hatred, green, desert, water, and finally joy. All six had wanted different things for their world. They decided to create a system that would never fail and would make the six worlds independent of each other. They created a AI that could keep the worlds this way. And then they died off. The AI has run the worlds ever since then with no thought as to what else to do.
The scientists left the ship giving it the all clear. Our explorer left the ship as well only to not interrupt what the ship has been doing. They all left the solar system as to not interrupt the planets and let them live out their lives in peace. As our explorer left the solar system he sent one last report to earth:
Exploration Month Six:
Found a mysterious object. Explored the mysterious object. No other information found.
All planets seem dangerous to live on. Satellites seem to do nothing. No Go.
